Letter from Principal regarding outstanding funds
After a letter was sent to Principal to dispute the charges they
felt they were owed (approximately $7.2k), the Board received a
letter on 3/24/04 which states in the second paragraph that our
Attorney and the Board did not cooperate with the paperwork they
required. Our Board supplied the Bylaws, CC&R's, and the meeting
minutes from the special election on December 10th which completely
contradicts the implication from Mark Southall President of Principal
Management Group. In fact, the meeting minutes were given to Mark
Southall directly in a face to face meeting.
Principal is not the judge and jury. They had zero
authority to determine what happens to the neighborhood's money.
Once they sent out the letter to the neighborhood saying they were
stepping away, their involvement was over.
If no evidence was given,
how could their law firm make the determination that the recall
was not legal?

2/12/04 Annual Meeting held
It was good to see several Homeowners making it
out to the annual Board meeting. The atmosphere was very positive
while going through the agenda items. The community seems to really
want to move ahead and restore comradery. It was clear the new Board
has an open door and willingness to advocate for the collective
community.
Two new Board members were elected by the community.
Congratulations to Laura Underwood
and Robert Vittitoe and welcome!!!
In less than 24 hours, participation in the bulletin board forum
has increased by more than 20+ people. Several emails were received
that were complimentary and the tone of the general feed back was
a sign of positive morale in the community. This is outstanding!!!

1/11/04 - Fire at the Soccer Field
At approximately 6:35 PM a grass fire started at the soccer
fields. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Flower Mound
Fire Department said it took about 4 minutes to spread from Valley
Ridge Blvd. moving it's way toward the pool area. The fire was contained
within minutes and nobody was hurt. Some neighbors were seen trying
to put the fire out with blankets and buckets of water showing their
bravery and concern for the community.
