Baby Sitting Co-op
Need a night out without the kids? Or how about a few hours in
the afternoon? Did you know that Stone Hill Farms has a Babysitting
Co-op that is active and looking for new members?
The Great Escape Babysitting Co-op
is a group of homeowners in Stone Hill Farms and surrounding Prairie
Trail neighbors who trade child care in exchange for coupons instead
of cash. This is a great way ensure that your kids are being cared
for in a safe, fun environment without costing a penny.
How it works:
• Each member is given 12 hours of coupons for each child
when joining.
• A member profile form is filled out with information about
your family, home and best times available to watch kids.
• Each member receives all members’ profiles for reference.
• When you need a sitter for any amount of time, contact
the members on the list to see if anyone is available.
• Once you find someone, you pay one coupon per hour per
child.
• To earn additional coupons, agree to watch other children
in your home when you want for as long as you want. No obligation
is necessary.
• Also, Saturday Night Sits are also hosted several times
a month. This is completely optional. Members may volunteer
to open their home to several families on a Saturday evening.
Again, you control how many hours and how many kids you are interested
in watching. This is a great way to earn tickets and the kids
have a blast playing together.
• There is never any obligation to sit for anyone. You volunteer
as you desire, when you can and/or need additional coupons.
Once in the Co-op, you and your children get to know each other
and the kids love getting together. It is not like you are just
dropping them somewhere, they are have a blast with several firends
they have made.
We have several families involved
with kids of all ages. While membership has been up and down over
the years, we would like to get more families involved. In addition
to the Saturday Sits, we have met for back-to-school parties and
other fun gatherings.

to practice per time slot. More then 4 teams could overload
the parking lot and create traffic problems around the Amenities
